The öÏÓãÊÓƵ and Institute (‘öÏÓãÊÓƵS&I’) Board meets six times per year to provide strategic direction to the organisation, as well as considering and making decisions on those recommendations put forward by our various panels.

Our Board members are appointed for a fixed term of four years and may be reappointed thereafter as determined by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. The four Chairs of the Home Country Sports Councils automatically also sit on öÏÓãÊÓƵ's Board.

The Panels are each chaired by a Board member and include other individuals of relevant expertise and experience who advise and make recommendations as appropriate.

öÏÓãÊÓƵs Institute Board

The öÏÓãÊÓƵs Institute (öÏÓãÊÓƵSI) remains a separate legal entity with its own Board of five non‑executive directors (three drawn from the öÏÓãÊÓƵS&I Board including the Chair). Its role is to meet legal and regulatory obligations, ensure alignment with Group strategy, and provide operational oversight. Although not a formal sub‑committee of the öÏÓãÊÓƵS&I Board, its operation and reporting will align closely with Group governance.
