YOU’LL BE DOINGProviding excellent legal advice to the ECB on all commercial and non-contentious matters.Drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts including sponsorship agreements, staging agreements, player agreements, funding agreements, licensing agreements, technology agreements, and other agreements with stakeholders and suppliers.Advising on commercial matters connected to ECB competitions such as The Hundred.Advising on data protection matters and ensuring that the ECB complies with legislation and guidance.Advising on intellectual property matters, including assisting with the management of the ECB’s intellectual property portfolio and ensuring that the ECB is protected in this area.Effectively assessing and managing legal and reputational risks to the ECB.Providing instructions to external counsel where appropriate.Ensuring relevant policies are up to date and adhered to.Please note that this role is office based and requires you to be in the office a minimum of three days per week. YOU’LL HAVEThe right to work in the öÏÓãÊÓÆµ.At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience as a solicitor in private practice or in-house (and the authorisation to work as a solicitor in England and Wales).Experience advising on a variety of commercial and non-contentious matters, and excellent technical legal skills, contract drafting and negotiating skills.The ability to provide robust legal advice in a practical and concise manner.Excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.The ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong planning and time management skills.
