If so, Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ is seeking a Performance Operations Manager to lead the day to day operational, financial and governance needs of our World Class Programme towards Los Angeles 2028 and beyond.Recent highlights include a successful Paris 2024 Paralympic Games where Stephen McGuire won gold in the BC4 Male category and, in 2025, we finished top of the medals table with four gold, one silver and one bronze at the European Championships. With the World Championships in Korea this September and the 2028 Paralympic Games in LA fast approaching, this role is pivotal in supporting programme-wide objectives, performance indicators and managing ongoing complex operational and governance requirements.The role sits in Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµâ€™s Senior Leadership Team.The Performance Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operational, administrative, financial and governance needs of Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ, ensuring the delivery of a seamless, high-quality delivery of all World Class Programme initiatives and smooth running of the organisation. The role focuses on managing logistics, operations and governance to maximise Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµâ€™s strategic and performance outcomes. The individual will provide secretariat support to the Board and wider committees as well as be company secretary (companies house) and point of contact for yearly audits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerformance Operations / Logistics and Financial management • Lead on operational competition / camp planning, international competition entries, travel logistics and financial management and reporting of World Class Programme budgets to öÏÓãÊÓÆµ. • Oversee all performance operations, ensuring alignment with Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµâ€™s strategic objectives and öÏÓãÊÓÆµ funding requirements. • Manage the day-to-day WCP / Talent Transition Programme operations, including logistics, data management and administrative processes.• Manage and review operating procedures that ensure operating systems, policies and approaches reflect best practice and effectively underpin the successful operations of the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ WCP• To maintain financial costings of all events/activities, preparing and finalising financial forecasts and returns to öÏÓãÊÓÆµ in line with Funding Agreement guidelines• To lead on the effective management of budget tracking and monitoring to enable accurate accounts for the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ World Class Programme.• Line manage Governance and Operations Assistant (0.4 FTE)Governance and Compliance • To Manage all Governance aspects of the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ WCP• Ensure all operational activities comply with safeguarding, health and safety, anti-doping, data protection regulations and Diversity and Inclusion Action Plans (DIAP)• Act as the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ Safeguarding and anti-doping lead • Conduct annual financial audits (with external audit provider) on the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ WCP, ensuring alignment with organisational and legal standards. • Lead on the BDO (öÏÓãÊÓÆµ) audit (every 4 years)• Support the Governance and Operations Assistant on all aspects involved in the Governance processes and committee. Programme management and reporting • To ensure that all sport policies are up to date and available to athletes, staff and other agencies, including selection policies and adherence to published processes. • To act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the strategic direction of Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ WCP and provide project management and operations support for identified projects within the performance programmes.Technical Projects and team support• To act as Company Secretary to the United Kingdom Boccia Federation Board and to act as Secretary to the Finance Committee and support the respective Chairs in fulfilling the Governance requirements including interaction with öÏÓãÊÓÆµ and other stakeholders.• Support the development and implementation of the Strategic plan and contribute to its execution through the Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ Board• To support öÏÓãÊÓÆµ wide classification processes and development in collaboration with the Head of Performance Pathways• Provide support to the Chair of Boccia öÏÓãÊÓÆµ in preparation for Board and other meetings• Provide direct support to the Senior Leadership Team and Performance Director, developing strategy performance trackers, managing deadlines, and supporting high quality record keeping.Performance PrinciplesOur Performance Principles are important to us.
